The tenth generation of the versatile ProLiant DL180 rack server from the HPE (Hewlett Packard Enterprise) DL series delivers a significant increase in performance over its predecessor with support for Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs. With more cores and improved energy efficiency of the processors, the servers can meet the growing demands of a wide range of workloads for businesses of all sizes. Memory-intensive applications benefit from the higher speeds of DDR4 main memory, and extensive expansion options via PCI Express slots enable customised adaptation to existing infrastructures. In addition to graphic cards and network cards, appropriate controllers can be installed to support hard disks with various transfer standards such as SATA (Serial Advanced Technology Attachment), SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) and NVMe (Non-Volatile Memory Express). The servers are available in a range of chassis options that can accommodate LFF (Large Form Factor) or SFF (Small Form Factor) drives and support both conventional HDDs (Hard Disk Drive) and fast SSDs (Solid State Drive), depending on the storage performance required. In addition, redundant power supplies provide the high availability and reliability needed to safely run mission-critical applications, and iLO (Integrated Lights-Out) enables simplified server management with numerous monitoring and security features.
