• Storage options

Depending on the model and configuration, you can use hard disks in 3.5" LFF or 2.5" SFF form factor to provide the required mass storage. Different backplane boards with SAS and SATA as well as NVMe connection support the installation of HDD and SSD drives of all common standards. The storage can be managed either via the integrated storage controller or with separate RAID controllers, which differ in functionality and performance depending on the model. Optional tri-mode controllers also offer particularly high flexibility in the selection of storage media.

• Processors and Memory

HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 Plus servers provide the computing power needed for demanding workloads by supporting high-performance third-generation Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs in two sockets, which can feature up to 40 cores depending on the processor model. Each processor has 16 DIMM slots at its disposal, which enable a memory expansion of up to 4 TB per socket with DDR4 memory modules. This means that the systems can also be configured for memory-intensive applications and offer a wide range of options for high performance despite the compact chassis.

• Expansion options

As a flexible platform for a wide range of applications, the HPE DL360 Gen10 Plus server offers a high bandwidth for connecting expansion cards with 64 PCI Express lanes. Two PCIe Gen4 slots can therefore be used, among other options, for powerful graphic cards for computing acceleration. With an optionally available riser cage, the configuration of the PCIe slots can also be adapted and expanded in such a way that a total of up to three expansion cards of different sizes can be installed. The systems are also equipped with an OCP 3.0 slot (Open Compute Project), which accepts compatible network cards from various manufacturers. This enables flexible adaptation to the existing network environment without reducing the expansion possibilities through PCI Express slots.
